Jennifer & Family: I was stunned to hear of your mom's passing. My fondest memories of her are from the times I would spend chatting with her and my brother Bernie when she worked for him at his market. Jane had no problem expressing to me how much she loved and cared about my brother, and for that, I feel the same for her. What a wonderful woman she was. Deepest sympathy to you all.

I wanted to mention Steph...I remember a time staying at your house when we were in like 4th grade or something. Your mom made us fried squash blossoms...or pumpkin blossoms, one or the other. I had never had them, and I remember loving them. It is one thing I always remembered about your mom. She'll be greatly missed. Peace to all of you.

I remember your mother with great fondness. What I most admired about her is how direct and candid she was. On the exterior she was firm and solid, but on the inside she had a kind, soft heart. As Father Bill said, you always knew where you stood with her. I loved seeing and talking with her. She reminded me so much of my dad. Now they are together playing euchre just like the old days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Jane certainly expressed herself and her opinions and that is what I appreciated about her. You always knew where you stood with her. I can imagine Jane letting God have it for things she did not approve of! Her heart was even bigger that her opinions. I was a pleasure to know Jane. May she rest in peace.
