Despite our interactions being work related only, as a fellow Chief I'm saddened at the fact our chain was shortened by one. May your family be cloaked in the joy your memories bring as they reverence you by celebrating your life with each remaining day.
- My Deepest Sympathy,
SKC Sergio Cosby

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I enjoyed my interactions with Scott all through the years in the BOD as well as when I worked in NE years ago and had to come up to the Balt Whse on occasion and 1st met him while he was in ALD. Great guy who will be sorely missed.
God Bless,
Jerry Rattenbury

Ann, Tyler and Mitchell....My deepest sympathies to you and the family at this time. Scott's character made going to work a day of surprises as others have said. I only have worked with him during the past 5 years or so and I wish I had the chance to serve with him, the "Chief" during my active duty days. God bless.

Dear Ann & Family. Please know that our prayers and deepest sympathy are with you all at the passing of Scott. All of our kids were informed of Scott’s passing and they remember him from the various Kline reunions/funerals over the years, and all have fond memories, as do Jeanne & I, of a really nice fun loving young man with a wonderful family and a zest for life. His service to his Country in the Coast Guard, in and out of uniform, was inspiring to those shipmates who knew and served with him, as well as those who followed him. A life well lived, for sure, and one that was an inspiration to many.
May he rest now in God's Peace, good & faithful servant...

Dear Ann and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Even though we haven't stayed in touch since graduation, it's still very sad to see a classmate pass away. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers and know that Scott will still be with you always through your children and grandchildren. God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
Lisa (Lander)Carroll & George Carroll

We are so sorry to hear the news of Scott's passing but also know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his new body and with our Heavenly Father! Scott was a fierce competitor, on the court and off the court. We are praying for that "peace that passes all understanding" to overflow the entire Kline family at this time. Much love, the Bartons.

Our condolences to the Kline family. Prayers for you all.
Scott always gave a friendly smile and helped everyone.
He was well respected as a Chief and later as federal civilian worker.
I could never understand why he wore shorts in the winter, and lectured him many times, with him smiling at me the whole time. But the ladies on the base never complained when he wore them!
The world was nicer with him in it but he will watch over everyone from heaven now.
Respectfully,
John and Sue Wiedmann

Very sorry to learn of Scotts passing. My sincer condolences to all Scotts family. My years working with Scott will be remembers by his love for the CG and the Steelers and his family. His cube full of terrible towels, his easy smile, quick wit and friendly banter on mondays when beating the ravens. His love for practical jokes lead me to steel 2 doz Smurf blue cup cakes he brought in to celebrate a coworkers birthday. After watching him look for a few hours i tried to sneak them back only to drop them and get blue icing everywhere. Took me a hour to clean up the mess then having to confess and pay for replacements. He saw the humor, never got mad. He was a cool guy. Rest easy Scott.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kline family. Scott was a cherished friend and coworker who will be missed immensely. He was always making someone laugh with his stories of eating Crisco as a kid, his crazy new words and showing pictures of Emma Ann putting makeup on him. Scott rest in peace good friend and enjoy feeding Pork Chop off the tomato vines.
