Obituary of Ruth C Harriett

Ruth C. Harriett, 92, of Tionesta, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehab Center. She was born August 21, 1926 in Bradford, PA to the late George and Ida Frutiger Clark. On February 22, 1947 she married Donald (Bud) Harriett, who preceded her in death on April 3, 1990. She was a stay at home mom most of her life and babysat for other children. In 1975, Ruth went to work for the North Clarion School District where she worked in the cafeteria. She got a lot of enjoyment out of baking. Ruth was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is survived by her children: James E. Harriett and wife, Rose, of Cranberry, PA, Richard G. Harriett and wife, Donna, of El Cajon, CA, and Janice L. Kline and husband, Keith, of Lickingville, PA.; her seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Gary L. Harriett, and her two brothers, George and Richard Clark. Per her request there will be no public funeral services for Ruth. Arrangements are under the care of the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper, PA.
