Obituary of Mary A Luktisch
Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Sunday, December 2, 2018 we lost Mary A. Luktisch, 97, of Tionesta, the comfort of our family but she remains the heart of the family.
Mary was born in Hookstown, PA on February 2, 1921 to the late Carl and Caroline Young Ullman.
She was married to the late Peter Luktisch, who passed away in World War II, on November 27, 1940 in Winchester, VA.
Mary was a great homemaker and cook. She was a sweet, kind, loving and cheerful person. Mary was a devoted mother and friend, a very strong and moral woman. She provided constant love and guidance to her immediate and extended family. A woman whose heart was larger than all the heavens, whose friendship and goodness knew no bounds. All those who met her were admired at her energy and were touched by those qualities. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and whose hearts she touched as the gentle woman she was. She also enjoyed hanging out with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Haramic, and her husband Joe, of Beaver, PA, and a son Gerald Ullman, of Ohio; her extended family, her devoted companion Albinus Faraone and his five daughters, Debra, Patricia, Lori, Rebecca, and Pamela; her niece who was very helpful to her, Barb Ryan; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Peter G. and Stephen Luktisch, 6 brothers, Frank, Edward, Joseph, Charles, Rudolph, and William, 3 sisters, Barbara Dawson, Eva Bell, and Martha Senn.
A special thank you to a caring and compassionate Dr. Fee who took great care of Mary.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper, PA.
