Obituary of Kasey R. Kocjancic

Kasey R. Kocjancic, 39, of Leeper died unexpectedly at his home, after a long struggle with addiction on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Born February 10, 1978 in Warren, PA, he was the son of Rudolph J. and Cheryl L. Stump Kocjancic, who survive. Kasey was married to the former Shelly E. Stolburg on July 30, 2014 at Flying Dove in Ridgway by Rev. Ronald Burkett and she survives. Kasey graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1996. He was a Christian Journeyman of the Church of Jesus Christ and enjoyed praise and worship of the Lord. He was a logger and enjoyed riding his dirt bike and 4 wheelers, hunting, fishing, tubing trips down the river, fireworks, camp fires and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Kasey is survived by 4 children: Kaden C., Landen M., Presten R. and Gracie M. Kocjancic, all of Leeper and 2 step-children: Nicolas B. Williams of St. Mary's and Jonah A. Williams of Leeper. He is also survived by a sister, Kristen K. Williams and her husband, Jamie of Treasure Lake and a brother Kelsey J. Kocjancic of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandfather, Robert M. Stump of Johnsonburg and a niece and nephew, Rudy and Lucy Williams of Treasure Lake. Kasey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Katherine Kocjancic and maternal grandmother, Nellie Stump. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Flying Dove Ranch, 743 Old Red Mill Dam Road, Ridgway, PA 15853 with Rev. Ronald Burkett of Hallton Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow in Johnsonburg U.M. Cemetery.
