Obituary of Constance Ann Feicht

Constance Ann (Connie) Feicht, 79, of Kenner, Louisiana and formerly of Marienville, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at her home after a long illness. Born January 28, 1935 in Guitonville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Ochs Mealy. She was a former member of St. Ann Church in Marienville. Connie's life revolved around her family. Connie is survived by 3 sons, Joseph E. Songer and his wife, Karen D. of Springville, Alabama, Michael J. Songer of New Iberia, Louisiana and John P. Songer of Kenner, Louisiana. She is also survived by two sisters, Romaine McMullen of Charleston, SC and Linda Valeski of Indiana, PA. In addition she is survived by 7 grandchildren: Tara Smith, Diana Songer, Benjamin Songer, Andrew Songer, Emily Songer, Erin Songer and Ellie Songer and 5 great-grandchildren: Perri Hughes, Dylan Hughes, Parker Hughes, Landon Griffin and Peyton Griffin. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husbands, James L. Songer and Carl E. Feicht. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church in Marienville with Rev. Gregory Passauer, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
