Obituary of Kevin Carl Renton

Mr. Kevin Carl Renton, 57, of Marienville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2014. Kevin was born on December 8, 1956 in Marienville, son of the late Ruth M. Byers Harp. He was married to Cynthia "Cindy" Marzilli on June 30, 1990 in Marienville at the family farm. He graduated from East Forest High School in 1974, and went on to school at Rosedale Tech in Pittsburgh for welding and mechanics. Kevin was employed with Bob Silvis Excavating. He was a member of the VFW Post 8755 in Marienville, a former member of A.B.A.T.E., and the co-founder of "Save My Children Ministry", partnered with Kenneth Copeland and Keith Moore ministries. Kevin enjoyed going camping and hunting with his beloved wife, enjoying the outdoors, playing horseshoes, billiards, shuffleboard, bowling, riding his Harley, and was an outstanding dancer. He was always there to help those in need, and was a born again Christian. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy; step-father, Marland Harp, daughter, Brenda Wilson of Michigan, previously of Marienville; son-in-law, Rev. Steve R. Farrell of Kentucky; twelve grandchildren, Alex, Christopher, Heather, Barbara, Robert, Ian, Kassondra, Isaiha, Brandon, Nathan, JayJay, and Joseph; one great granddaughter, Lillian Jean; four sisters, Ruth "Sis" Silvis and husband Bob of Marienville, Tammi Campbell and husband Kevin of Virginia, Marla Harp of Marienville, Mia Severo and husband Chuck of Meadville; four brothers, Bill Renton and wife Joanne of Virginia, Ed Renton and wife Pam of Virginia, Randy Renton and Shirley Renton of Marienville, and Jami Harp of South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Schweitzer and husband Jeffery of Sheffield; a father-in-law, Rev. Joseph Marzilli of West Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; his mother-in-law, Rita M. Marzilli; and a daughter, Paula J. Farrell. Friends may call at the Greg Borland Funeral Home, 32936 Pennsylvania Rt. 66, Leeper on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Monday from Noon to 1:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Ben Maxwell of HIS Church officiating.
