Robert E. Rossey, Sr., 73, of Marienville, died Friday, November 29, 2013, at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville. Born October 12, 1940 in Marienville, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Gladys Frazier Rossey.
Mr. Rossey was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by 2 sons, Robert Rossey, Jr. of Monroeville and Michael Rossey and his wife, Christina of Marienville. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Thomas Rossey of Wilmerding and John Rossey and his wife, Donna of Monroeville. In addition he is survived by 4 grandchildren: Catherine Rossey, Thomas Rossey, Brandi Rossey and Timothy Rossey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rossey was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Rossey.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 2 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Spencer, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville, officiating.
