My apologies to Cindy, Dave and Mick and all the rest of the family for not being in attendance at your Mother's funeral service. I learned of her death weeks after. So sorry. I have so many sweet memories of "Joce" (really not sure how to spell that but you all know what I mean..haha) in your childhood home. I spent many weekends there with my best buddy Cindy, even on school days we were treated to her infamous pancake breakfast in the mornings before catching the bus. You could feel it even then how much she LOVED taking care of her family. She would set Mick and Dave straight when they were tormenting Cindy and I too much in her eyes. She was such a very special, extraordinary "angel". I loved to hear her laugh when her kitchen/living room was full of all us kids....Dave, Mick, Shawn, Cindy, Missy and myself. We sure had some good times--and she was right in the middle of it all -- laughing. I know those memories will be with me forever. My deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you, I know how it feels to lose the love of your mother. But you will find her in a song or a laugh or a memory will just stir you for no reason and you know it's her. Love to you all, you mean so much to me still. Rest in Peace our dear, sweet girl. xoxoxo

Her candle has gone out but my love for her will burn forever in my heart. She was one of happiest memories of my childhood. Aunt Jo curled my hair with rags, she rode me on her bike, we picked black berries for Gramma Irwin, she taught me how to put on makeup, she baked the best cookies, she hauled me around on the sled, sang songs to me, played hop scotch but most of all she loved me. Another piece of my heart has gone today. Have fun up there with the rest of the Irwin clan Aunt Jo, we will miss you down here but plan to join you in the future. Love from Your Niece .Phyllis
