Obituary of Louise R. Hudson

Louise R. Hudson, 94, of Tionesta, died Friday evening, March 15, 2013 at her daughter's home in Lakeway, Texas. Born July 19, 1918 in Indiana County, she was the daughter of the late Blaine A. and Mayme Westover Ross.
She married Harold H. Hudson on March 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2001.
Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker. She was a member of Scotch Hill United Methodist Church. Louise was active in civic and church organizations over the course of her life and almost always holding a position of responsibility. In recent years those groups included the Leeper Women's Club and the United Methodist Women of Western Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by 1 son and 3 daughters: Harold B. Hudson and his wife, Helen of Export, Pa; Mary MacKay of Leeper; Jean Masco of Lakeway, Texas and Miriam Thompson of Oxford, North Carolina. She is also survived by a close sister-in-law, Genevieve Molek of Sharon. In addition she is survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Her family will always remember Louise as a kind and loving woman, devoted to her family and shall miss her always.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by 1 brother, Stanley B. Ross; and 3 sisters, Daisy DiGennaro, Rose Hollis and Isobel Butterworth.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, March 21, 2012, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Andy Blystone of Tylersburg Charge United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Amity Cemetery in Newmansville.
