Laura E. Wagner, 75, of Shippenville, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Clarview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo. Born November 9, 1936 in Shippenville, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Laura Hartle Bell.
She married Dennis Wagner on September 7, 1957 at St. Michael's Church in Fryburg and he survives.
Mrs. Wagner retired from Owens Illinois in 1998. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion. She enjoyed crocheting.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wagner is survived by 3 sons: Kenneth Wagner and Brenda Dolby of Miola; Stephen Wagner and Sue Hunt of Shippenville and Raymond Wagner and his wife, Kathy of Strattanville. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Banner and Ruth Bell, both of Williston Florida and 3 granddaughters, Nicole Rae Wagner, Meriah Newton and Kirsten Wolf.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Lauer and an infant sister, Wilda Bell and 2 brothers, Lorin and Lloyd Bell.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, October 3, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion, with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the church, as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
