We were next door neighbors during the time Mr. Bauer lived with Steve & Peggy and remember fondly how faithful he was in bringing in their mail ~ he even brightened up the red paint on the mail box flag so the carrier would be sure to see it! Our hearts and our prayers are with you all...

I remember taking morning walks with Papa, and getting up at 5 in the morning and drinking some Maxwell coffee. I remember driving to the Holten Hilton with Papa and even having some fun at the zoo feeding napkins to some critters. I'll miss you Papa. Love - Mike

Papa... I will always treasure my childhood visits to PA (Even though you and Mike never woke me up for the early morning walks that you woul take everyday). I enjoyed the year you spent here in VA at the house. "The dog" sure missed you when you went to New Castle. I miss you and love you. Tell Grandma the same for me too.

Though we had not had the pleasure of meeting Victor personally, we have come to know his son Steve over the years. He has proven to be a good husband, father, friend and citizen. These traits come from parents through an upbringing that value honor, hard work, love and commitment. Victors's legacy and values will live for generations to come through the eyes of his descendents, benefiting this great country and advancing humanity. Rest in peace.
