Obituary of Anna M. Snyder

Anna M. Snyder 79, of Snydersburg, died Thursday night, April 19, 2012 at Clarion Hospital. Born December 26, 1932 in Marble she was the daughter of the late Leanus A. and Irene L. Hartle Rapp. She was married to Kenneth S. Snyder on November 14, 1953 at St. Michael Church in Fryburg and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2012. Mrs. Snyder worked for Owens Illinois for 42 years and retired as an inspector. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Anna enjoyed cross stitching and going to yard sales with her sister Kate. Mrs. Snyder is survived by two children, Kenneth A Snyder and his wife, Karen of Shippenville and Amy M. Andre and her husband, Mike of Douglassville, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Heather Schmader, and her husband Kyle, Matthew and Christian Snyder and Danielle and David Andre and three great grandchildren: Griffin and Gabrielle Schmader and Treyson Snyder. Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters: Harold Rapp and his wife, Patty of Miola, Dick Rapp and his wife, Ruth of Lickingville, Frank Rapp and his wife, Bonnie of Oil City, Bob Rapp and his wife, Cindy of Lake Lucy, Paul Rapp and his wife, Sheryl of Lickingville, Barb Buzard and her husband, Joe of Knox and Kate Larrow of Crown. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Snyder is preceded in death by seven siblings: Albert Rapp, Ethel Sharpe, Jerry Rapp, George Rapp, Dorothy Caltagarone, David Rapp and Charles Rapp. Friends and family may call from 6-8 on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda, with Rev. William C. Miller, pastor as celebrant.
