Debbie, I am so sorry to hear the news about your mother. I was in Youngstown this week and my mother had saved the newspaper for me. When i saw her picture I was struck by how beautiful she looked. One of my memories of her was her beautiful smile and the warmth she projected. Even from a newspaper photo I could see that she had never lost that light. I seem to have lost your address and phone number, my address book has somehow acheived MIA status, once life regains a bit of an even keel, I would love to catch up on you and your family. I'm so sad Alberta has passed. I have fond memories of her and John from my childhood. Though I am not a Grove by name or blood, they always made me feel like I was their grandchild. I only wish I could be there to give my condolences in person. The entire family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We were saddened to read the morning paper and find that Alberta had passed away. We came to know Alberta and John through the volleyball group in Oil City. What a precious lady! Our condolences to John and the entire family.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Alberta. I grew up loving her for her warm, sweet way. She and John were always there for me and my family...and were especially close with my Grandma and Grandpa Powell. I loved visiting them "in the mountains" even when I think their camp was a little old trailer. I will miss you Alberta...much love to John, Buttons, Gene, Bob and your families.
